Cobb County has an abundance of parks and recreational facilities - there is something for everyone! For outdoor enthusiasts, there are sports parks, walking trails, golf courses and dog parks. For climate controlled fun, visit our indoor swimming pools, basketball gyms, gymnastic facility and cultural centers and museums.
Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs department supports team and individual play, coaching excellence, sportsmanship and good, clean fun. We also strive to promote environmental awareness and appreciation of the outdoors.

ARTS AND CULTURE
Whether you are looking for a watercolor, clay or acting class, theatre performance, outdoor concert, gallery exhibition or arts related birthday party, this unit will have your program (or create it for you!). With three arts centers in East, West and South Cobb, the Civic Center Complex, the historic Mable House and the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre the creative possibilities seem endless.

Serving People with Special Needs
Special Olympics is an international sports program for athletes ages 8 and up with the developmental disabilities. Special Olympics is a year around program that offers 15 different sports opportunities that includes track and field, basketball, bowling, golf, swimming, tennis, volleyball, equestrian, table tennis, gymnastics, ice skating, roller skating, alpine skiing, bocce and power lifting.
