Acting Out History
Imagine a guided tour by a famous person in history! As children move through the exciting exhibits at the Youth Museum in Marietta, they are engaged in role playing and lively discussions by leaders dressed in authentic period costumes. Your child might even be chosen to dress up and participate in a skit with elaborately authentic props!
The Youth Museum serves as an extension of the classroom - bringing history alive at every turn - to make education exciting. Advisors from the Cobb County school system assist in the research and development of the programs to make sure that each experience is meaningful and relevant.
The beautiful setting is located right next to the Cheatham Hill area of the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield National Park. They rely on volunteers and patrons provide this invaluable educational facility to the Cobb County school children. For more information, please call or email the Youth Museum.
